What It Looks Like

STEP ONE: CONSULTATION

First, we’ll meet to discuss your biggest concerns within your parent/child dynamic. Once I’ve gathered more information regarding your child’s challenging behaviors, I will provide feedback and problem-solving strategies, followed by a written overview.

STEP TWO: OBSERVATION

Then, an initial observation will take place where I will witness current patterns and exchanges within the home. In a follow-up meeting, we’ll discuss the observed behaviors, tools I recommend for behavior reduction, and plans for moving forward.

STEP THREE: INTERVENTION

The intervention phase consists of 3 consecutive days of in-person guidance, modeling behavior strategies, access to my parent manual, and real-time problem solving in the home to address and work through challenges.

STEP FOUR: MAINTENANCE

Following the intervention period, sessions will fade to weekly maintenance check-ins to address additional challenges and continue to provide guidance and support.
